1. How to assess Replacement
Pay attention to the following points when using the above table:
(1) Although the surface of the steel wire is not damaged, but the number of broken wires reaches the corresponding figure in the table, it shall be scrapped;
(2) When the wear or corrosion of the steel wire surface accounts for 30% of the diameter, it shall be scrapped even if the number of broken wires is 0;
(3) If the surface wear percentage has reached, but the corresponding broken wire number has not reached, it will not be scrapped;
(4) The elevator steel wire rope shall be scrapped in case of broken strand;
(5) When the elevator steel wire rope is twisted in the same direction, the allowable number of elevator steel wire breaks is half of the values in the table;
(6) Estimation of lay distance: generally, 6.5 times of rope diameter is taken as one lay distance, such as 8x (19) Xilu steel wire rope with 8 strands Φ The 16mm pitch is about 6.5 × 16mm=100mm；
(7) The elevator wire rope shall be scrapped if its diameter is reduced by 10%.
(8) If the surface of the elevator steel wire rope is seriously rusted, blackened, spotted, pitted and the outer steel wire is loose, it must be replaced immediately;
(9) When replacing the elevator wire rope, all elevator wire ropes in the same group shall be replaced together;
(10) During use, if the internal lubricating oil is squeezed out like sweating, it indicates that the elevator steel wire rope has reached the overload state. In case of this phenomenon, check it immediately, find out the cause, and replace the new rope if necessary;
(11) Keep the elevator wire rope clean. If dirt such as sand is found on the surface, wipe it with kerosene (gasoline is strictly prohibited);
(12) For wire ropes with different wire diameters, the number of broken wires refers to the number of thin wires. For a thick wire, it is equivalent to 1.7 thin wires.
2. 1 lubrication of steel wire rope
Generally speaking, in the places where the traction wheel has a large diameter and the temperature is dry, the steel wire rope still has enough lubricating oil after 3 ~ 5 years of use, and it is not necessary to add new oil. However, no matter how long it is used, lubricating oil must be added whenever signs of rust or dryness are found on the elevator wire rope.
2. 2 lubrication method
A evenly and thinly apply a special et diluted elevator wire rope grease on the wire surface against the running direction of the wire rope with a bristle brush, or use No. 20 engine oil. The advantage of this method is simple, no heating and convenient coating, but pay attention not to pour too much oil, and there can be slight penetration lubrication on the rope surface. Do not apply calcium based grease. B apply heat. Firstly, the dirt and residues on the rope shall be brushed with a steel wire brush, cleaned with kerosene (it is strictly prohibited to clean with gasoline), and the lubricating oil (mixture of graphite and Vaseline) shall be heated to more than 80 ℃ for coating. The wire rope shall be properly lubricated and the surface shall not be coated with too much oil. Otherwise, the traction force will be reduced, and the load torque will not be balanced in serious cases, resulting in the elevator running out of control, resulting in the elevator roof and bottom collision accident; The elevator steel wire rope slips in the wheel groove, like a saw, which seriously wears the rope groove and the steel wire rope itself.
2. 3 characteristics of lubricating oil
No acid, alkali, moisture and moisture absorption; It is not easy to dry in the atmosphere, does not harden (crack) at low temperature, and does not lose at high temperature; It shall have proper viscosity to avoid oil rejection during elevator wire rope operation; It has the characteristics of sufficient penetration into elevator steel wire rope, wire strand and rope core.
